Licensing, Insurance & Credentials

Exactly who you’re hiring, what licenses apply where, and how to verify all of it — because a contractor who makes verification easy is telling you something.

Who we are

Anderson Construction Group operates as a trade name of Solvane platform operating companies, including Evolve Construction & Restoration and Restore Master Contracting, LLC. The specific contracting entity for your project — along with its license or registration details for your state — is identified on every written proposal and contract before any work begins.

Licensing by state

Contractor licensing in the United States is state by state — some states license roofing and general contracting at the state level, others delegate to cities and counties. Here is how our current markets work:

  • Florida — State contractor licensing applies (certified/registered contractors under DBPR). License details for the contracting entity appear on every Florida proposal and can be verified at myfloridalicense.com.
  • Texas — Texas has no state roofing contractor license; we register with local jurisdictions where required and carry the insurance detailed below on every project.
  • Colorado — No state general contractor license; licensing is municipal. We hold local licenses/registrations in the jurisdictions where we pull permits, listed on each proposal.
  • Illinois — No state general contractor license; City of Chicago and municipal licensing applies and is listed on Chicagoland proposals.
  • Michigan — State residential builder licensing applies to residential work; license details appear on every Michigan proposal and are verifiable through LARA.
  • Kentucky — No statewide general contractor license; local requirements apply and are listed on each proposal.
  • Oklahoma — Roofing contractor registration applies under the Roofing Contractor Registration Act; registration details appear on Oklahoma proposals.

Additional markets are published as trade name and licensing registrations complete in each state.

Insurance

Every project is performed with commercial general liability coverage and workers’ compensation as required by law. Certificates of insurance are provided on request — and we encourage you to request them directly, from us or any contractor you consider.

Platform credentials

Anderson is part of Solvane, whose operating companies’ earned honors include six Inc. 5000 appearances and a peak ranking of No. 31 among America’s Top 100 Roofing Contractors (RestoreMasters), Union Corrugating’s Metal Roofing Contractor of the Year, Verea Platinum Elite tile certification. Manufacturer certifications held by Evolve Construction include GAF Master Elite, IKO Craftsman Premier, Owens Corning Platinum Preferred, and CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster, alongside NRCA membership and Tile Roofing Institute certification. Manufacturer and supplier relationships across the platform include GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, TAMKO, Berridge, Union Corrugating, Verea, Versico, Conklin, Mule-Hide, Ironstone, and ABC Supply.

How to verify us — and anyone else

Ask for the contracting entity’s full legal name, check its license or registration with the authority listed above for your state, and request a certificate of insurance sent directly from the insurance agent. Our proposals carry all of this by default. Any contractor who resists this five-minute check has answered your real question.

Verification Made Easy

Every proposal names the entity, license, and coverage behind the work.
